She found a traveling circus that she joined up with for a few years where she met a young crippled man. He told her to leave the circus since most of the members didn't trust her and she heeded his advice, drawing into herself. She weathered a winter on her own and was close to death when she stumbled into Massanoa and was found by the ruler. He took her on as both a weapon and a ruler and she was relieved to have finally found a place in a world that seemed to despise her.
